Self care

๐Ÿ’œ We've been pretty quiet here lately as we are adjusting to self #isolation,#homeschooling and#activities galore. My kids have rightly so taken a front seat during this time and ensuring their well being and adjustment to these crazy times has been my number one priority ๐Ÿ’œ .

.

๐Ÿ’œ It's also important to be creative about how we ensure our own #selfcare๐Ÿ’œ

.

.

๐Ÿ’œ Ways to self nourish include staying active, yoga, stretches and home exercise are great or joining an online class๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ Having a chat with a friend or family member either on the phone or via an online video service (Facetime, zoom, whats app, video messenger ~ there are plenty around)๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ Learn a new skill or hobby ๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ Declutter, start small! There's no need to tackle it all at once ๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ Turn off the#news๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ Listen to#music Music is good for the soul. It releases #endorphins๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ#Meditate๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ#breathe๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ and then breathe again. Deep breathing is a natural tool to calm the central nervous system and promote #calming๐Ÿ’œ

.

๐Ÿ’œ and most importantly be#kind to yourself and others. ๐Ÿ’œ
